Dear members,
As you know, on Tuesday 2 September, the Italian Club was scheduled to hold its Annual General Meeting. Unfortunately, as we failed to reach our quorum requirements, the meeting was called off and postponed. A big thank you to all of those who did attend and enjoyed instead a pizza lunch!
As we must hold a successful AGM before the upcoming semester break, the AGM has been rescheduled for Tuesday 16 September to coincide with our next big club event...
Our next event will be a "Pranzo all'Italiano"! Come and enjoy both a pizza lunch and coffee from our coffee machine and chat with fellow Italian Club Members! The fun starts on Tuesday 16 September at 12:30 PM in the Old Arts Building Room 205. We will also announce details of our Italian Movie Night at the Italian Film Festival during the event.
We will also hold the AGM at this event, starting promptly at 1 PM. Official notice of the AGM (including the Agenda) will be forthcoming. If this meeting fails, the Club is subject to being wound up by UMSU - so attend and keep the club alive!
All members are encouraged to attend!
See you there!
